Entrepreneurship Non-Thesis Master's Program (Turkish)

Entrepreneurship is innovation and a pioneering effort that contributes to the development of humanity. With the impact of globalization, economies and businesses worldwide are growing rapidly, and new areas are constantly emerging. In order to gain a competitive advantage globally, both countries and businesses need managers with a global vision across various sectors, from industry to information technology, energy to software. The Entrepreneurship Master's Program aims to bring together managers and prospective managers with an entrepreneurial vision, fostering a mindset and skills for creating new businesses within the context of international independent enterprises or established organizations, while adopting a broader understanding of entrepreneurship and innovation from individual, organizational, and societal perspectives.

OSTİM Technical University has a wealth of resources in terms of the entrepreneurial ecosystem compared to other universities in our country. In order to foster an entrepreneurial mindset in all students, entrepreneurship courses and projects are offered from the first academic years, the Entrepreneurship Transcript encourages entrepreneurial activities throughout their entire education, and the Social Workshop provides support for students to take a business idea from inception to commercialization. These initiatives reflect the university's commitment to entrepreneurship. Thousands of SMEs operate in the OSTİM Organized Industrial Zone, and hundreds of start-ups are located in the nearby OSTİM Technopark. Additionally, this program will be highly beneficial for the managers, experts, and assistant experts of KOSGEB OSTİM Regional Directorate.

The Entrepreneurship Master's Program will stand out with its mandatory and elective courses designed based on global dynamics and the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the university. It is tailored for recent graduates or employees who wish to bring innovation and a more dynamic perspective to a company; for entrepreneurs who have already established a business or want to develop a business idea; for managers who aim to enhance the success of their businesses; and for those working in or aspiring to work in technology-focused areas like technology offices and technoparks.

The program also caters to professionals who aim to bring innovation and vision to existing businesses or engage in social entrepreneurship activities. It emphasizes project-based learning and experiential learning methods. Participants in the program will have the opportunity to focus on their own projects throughout the curriculum or form teams with businesses involved in the university's Entrepreneurship and Leadership Practice and Research Center’s incubation and accelerator programs.
